ROTC Leader's Training Course

Approximately two thousand college students from across the country participated in the 2010 Fort Knox ROTC Leader's Training Course. Seven groups of more than 200 cadets cycled through the course over a six-week period. The Commission co-hosted seven Family Day receptions for the parents, spouses, and other family members of the cadets. During each reception the family members were given an overview of what their cadet had experienced during the 29-day course. The Commission provided refreshments and literature on points of interests in the area. The Commission also sponsored the "Bold Leader Spirit Award". The highly coveted award was presented to a cadet in each cycle who demonstrated inspirational small unit leadership and warrior spirit.
