In May of 1992, the Tribute to the Armored Soldier was dedicated in front of Radcliff City Hall. The massive, gold-toned and marble monument pays tribute to the men and women of the Armored Force who have trained, lived, and traveled through the Radcliff/Fort Knox area over the years.
The unique, copyrighted symbol which rests atop the marble obelisk duplicates the tri-pointed Armor Branch insignia in a bold "spearhead" form, indicating the strength and movement of the Armored Force and its soldiers.
