Armor Unit Memorial Park This unique memorial park, strategically located on the grounds of the Patton Museum, pays tribute to the many armor units which served the nation, and is dedicated to the soldiers who served with the Armored Force during wars of the 20th century. The Memorial Park was dedicated on July 10, 1990, the 50th anniversary of armor, and since that time scores of veterans, soldiers, and visitors have made their way through the gates to pay tribute to those who served.

Bridges To The Past 150-year-old stone bridges predating the Civil War along a stretch of the historic "L&N" Turnpike are located in Fort Knox, and are part of a Heritage Walking Tour available during specific times. The three bridges can be viewed from atop the roadway, as well as from underneath, where visitors can get a first-hand look at the condition of the structures.

Fort Duffield Fort Duffield, ordered built by General Sherman in 1861 to protect a Union supply route, is Kentucky's oldest, largest, and best-preserved Civil War Fort. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and on the Civil War Trust's Civil War Discovery Trail. Wheelchair accessible, the Fort allows visitors to explore a site where Union Soldiers defended the Ohio River against the Confederate Army.

Gold Vault Fort Knox is perhaps best-known for the United States Bullion Depository, or "Gold Vault", as it is affectionately called by millions around the world. The facility, with its security systems shrouded in secrecy, houses the largest portion of the United States' gold reserve. Ironically, although it is synonymous with Fort Knox, the depository is located adjacent to the military installation, with US Treasury Department guards and employees.

Patton Museum The Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor is listed as one of the most visited sites in Kentucky. The facility derives its name from the famed World War II general, George S. Patton, Jr., and houses a tremendous amount of his personal effects. The evolution of Armor and history of the Cavalry are also major displays in the facility, which includes exhibits from every America-involved conflict, including armored vehicles captured during Desert Storm.

Saunders Springs The Saunders Springs Nature Preserve is located on the edge of the Karst Plateau in the Highland Rim physiographic region of Kentucky. The area is characterized by many sinkholes, caves and springs which drain a network of underground caverns.

Tioga Falls This self-guided trail was developed to display an area with a unique combination of natural beauty and nineteenth century history. The trail lies in an area of Fort Knox used for military training and as a result is sometimes closed to hikers. The trail may also be closed to hikers during some hunting seasons. Visitors using the Tioga Trail are required to strictly follow the regulations outlined on the back of this trail guide. Signs are conspicuously posted during times the trail is closed.

Tribute To The Armored Soldier In May of 1992, the Tribute to the Armored Soldier was dedicated in front of Radcliff City Hall. The massive, gold-toned and marble monument pays tribute to the men and women of the Armored Force who have trained, lived, and traveled through the Radcliff/Fort Knox area over the years.
